English Course Program in Dublin
General English Courses
The General English course aims to improve your overall competence in all aspects of English.
It is divided into two parts, the first two hours of each day is a core English language course which provides a graded introduction to grammar and vocabulary set in contexts.
The second half of the course provides practice in the four main skills of the language: reading, writing, speaking (which includes pronunciation) and listening with English for special and Academic purposes (business, medical, legal, exam preparation) on Fridays. The topics covered in this section are based on the students’ areas of interest.
At Annalivia School of Languages we believe that learning English should also happen outside the classroom and so we have, at no extra cost, arranged for 2 social activities per week.
- Lessons: 20 General English Lessons per week (55 mins per lesson)
- Timetable: 09.00 am - 01.00 pm from Monday to Thursday and from 09.00 am – 12.30 pm on Friday
- Levels available: Elementary, lower intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced
- Class size: Maximum 8, average 6 (January - June / October - December) - Maximum 12, average 10 (July - September)
- Start date: Every Monday
Executive English Courses
Our Executive English Courses are private One-to-One classes and can be run in addition to our General English course or can be run independently to them.
Evening General English Courses
General English Course; 2 evenings per week; 2 hours per evening.
- Lessons: 4 General English classes per week
- Timetable: from 06.00 pm to 08.00 pm & 08.00 pm to 10.00 pm; from to Thursday
- Levels available: Elementary, lower intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced
- Class size: Maximum 12, average 10
- Start date: First Monday of every month
