Language in London: English Courses in London since 1989

In 2006 Language in London became the first school in the world to win the British Council’s prize for innovation in English language teaching.

This award was for Cultural Experience, a very special English course where all the lessons take place outside the school in London’s museums and galleries. If you only have one or two weeks to spend in London then this is the perfect way to combine a holiday with studying.

The school will soon be celebrating its 20^th birthday and has a reputation for the highest quality teaching and innovative English Courses.

You can choose from a range of courses that include General English, Business English, Work Experience and Cambridge and IELTS exam preparation.

Located in central London (next door to the British Museum!), Language in London has 8 classrooms, a student coffee room and internet café, a library and reading room as well as a terrace and garden.

Students love the fact that the English Courses are innovative and that the quality of teaching is excellent. They also like to study at a place that has a family atmosphere – the school is run by Stuart and Greta, husband and wife, and is designed to be like a home from home. An example of this is that every student has a cake on their birthday and coffee, tea and biscuits are free all day for everyone.
